Talk by Bateman Horne Center

As part of the AGM, Forward-ME invited Tahlia Ruschioni from the Bateman Horne Center to present their new Clinical Care Guide (First Edition 2025). 

Tahlia Ruschioni is a healthcare leader with more than 20 years of experience spanning bedside care, systems-level advocacy, and medical education, currently serving as Executive Director of the Bateman Horne Center (BHC). Her career includes leadership roles in medical centers, public health systems, and academic medicine, where she built nationally and internationally recognized clinician education programs and advanced quality, safety, and access to care initiatives. Since joining BHC in 2019, Tahlia has led the global expansion of its medical education and clinical infrastructure, helping to elevate the standard of care for people with ME/CFS, Long COVID, and related complex conditions.

The need for well-informed medical professionals has never been more urgent. Since 2022, Bateman Horne Center’s medical education and professional training programs have reached more than 20,000 clinicians across 90 countries. Drawing on decades of clinical experience, applied practice, and research, their newest publication, Clinical Care Guide: Managing ME/CFS, Long COVID, and IACCs, offers an actionable roadmap for care. Join us to explore how the guide was developed and why high-quality medical education is essential to improving outcomes and quality of life for patients today.
